Gemmatus Spectrum

❝ Stars shone bright above the snow covered mountain.

Not a sound was heard. Not one soul stirred.

For the snow now glistened with the corpses of thousands of desolated enemies.

The smell of blood would now linger for days on end. Weeks, months perhaps.

The few survivors would return to their camp.

To tell the tale of an unmerciful defeat.

For the packs of gemstones had claimed victory once more.

Following the kings embroidered in silver and gold. ❞

Long ago, a gift from the heavens was sent down to earth. Two wolf brothers, Aurum and Argentum, Gold and Silver.

The two brothers found their way into a normal pack of the valley, before they learned they were not at all like the others.

They were stronger, bolder, smarter. 

So the brothers ran away to the mountain top, and roamed wolves with the same given gift.

And when the moon shone down upon the gemstones of many wolves, 

A rainbow like spectrum would soar through the sky like the north lights.

The brothers couldn't have asked for more.

One winter night Aurum decided to venture out to the east mountain.

Shocked to find tim going on a solo adventure, Argentum raced to follow him.

Offended by his absence Argentum raged at Aurum, 

He believed his brother brother was abandoning the pack they loved and ruled over.

Arguments and insults were being shot back and forth at one another,

Before Aurum slashed out at his brother in rage.

A fight broke out, and Aurum struggled to keep up with the strength of his elder brother.

Aurum took a deadly hit to his chest, and fell to the ground.

Appalled at what he had done, Argentum fled back to west mountain.

Claiming his brother attacked him, and now he was dead.

The Spectrum over head faded out, before the only thing left to see was the pitch black night.

But on the east mountain, Aurum didn't give up the fight for his life.

And there on East Mountain, The Kingdom of Gold was born.

And on the West Mountain, The Kingdom of Silver Reigned.
